New NETSCC director appointed

News release from NETSCC, Public Health Research

NETSCC has appointed Dr Matt Westmore as Director with responsibility for the management of three of its research programmes: Health Services Research (HSR), Public Health Research (PHR) and Service Delivery and Organisation (SDO).

As well as leading the directorate, Matt will become a NETSCC board member with joint responsibility for the delivery of NETSCC as a whole and to ensure that NETSCC continues to support the commissioning and delivery of health research that will be of significant benefit to the UK.

Matt has worked at NETSCC for two years, most recently as an Assistant Director for the Health Technology Assessment programme (HTA). Before this, he was the Assistant Director of the Strategy and Development directorate when he joined us in 2009.
