NETSCC Focus Group Members Needed Now in Southampton!

NETSCC (the National Institute for Health Research, Evaluation, Trials and Studies Co-Ordinating Centre) funds research which aims to improve health and social care provision.
We are setting up a Focus Group in Southampton to get the public’s views on both specific research proposals and general health topics.

WE NEED up to 12 people, representative of the diverse community in Southampton and genuinely interested in health matters, to carry out this work from April 2010.

WHAT YOU WOULD NEED TO DO The Group will meet locally 3 or 4 times a year to consider a range of health proposals and ideas. You won’t need specific knowledge and experience of health issues but you will need to prepare for meetings by reading short briefing papers. You will work within the Group to discuss topics and agree key points in an inclusive and productive way. more....

Support with attendance and a payment of £150 will be for made for each meeting attended.

INTERESTED? Then take a look at the person specification and complete the simple application form and return this to Kristy Cable at info@phr.ac.uk by February 28th 2010.
