Anyone can get involved with the work of the Public Health Research PHR) Programme. We welcome input from a wide range of people and believe it improves the relevance and quality of the research we fund.

Members of the public can refer to our public involvement page for opportunities to help the PHR Programme.

Academics, subject experts, service providers and practitioners can help the PHR Programme by becoming reviewers and/or suggesting research topics. We currently have a number of vacancies on our Programme Advisory Board (PAB). Apply now.

The Public Health Research Programme is managed by the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC). NETSCC is part of the University of Southampton.The Public Health Research Programme is funded by the NIHR, with contributions from the CSO in Scotland, NISCHR in Wales and HSC R&D Division, Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland.
