Applied Health Research on Dementia
During early 2011, the PHR programme participated in the NIHR call for research on dementia.  The call extended across the translational pathway, covering the fields of cause, cure and care, including prevention. For further information on this joint programme call, visit the NIHR dementia themed call page.

The application deadline for this funding opportunity has now passed and the applications are being processed. Shortlisted outline proposals from this round were considered by the Research Funding Board on 19/20 October 2011. Unfortunately, none of the applicants were invited to submit a full proposal.

Please note that the PHR programme continues to be interested in receiving proposals addressing dementia in areas not well represented in our portfolio.
