Commissioned research calls

The next call for commissioned proposals will be opening shortly.

Assessment dates

Outline proposals received by the cut-off date of 1pm on 23 August 2010 and deemed within remit will be assessed at the October 2010 Research Funding Board who will assess for scientific quality, feasibility and value for money. Decisions from the Research Funding Board will be communicated to applicants by late October 2010. Following this meeting successful outline proposal applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. Applicants have eight weeks to complete a full application form for it to be considered at the first 2011 Research Funding Board.

Evidence synthesis full proposals received by the cut-off date of 1pm on 26 July 2010 and deemed within remit will be assessed at the October 2010 Research Funding Board who will assess for scientific quality, feasibility and value for money. Decisions from the Research Funding Board will be communicated to applicants by late October 2010.
